HELENA, Mont. – After eight years of representing Montana as Attorney General, Tim Fox will now hand over his duties to Attorney General-elect Austin Knudsen.
While in office, Attorney General Fox worked with both sides of the aisle to pass impactful legislation, and always put his commitment to Montanans first.
Montana Republican Party Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt released the following statement in response:
“Attorney General Fox served Montana with integrity and a relentless commitment to doing everything within his power to improve the lives of Montanans across the state. Montana was lucky to enjoy eight years of his service as our Attorney General, and we look forward to Attorney General-elect Austin Knudsen, taking his oath as Montana’s next Attorney General.
I’m grateful to Attorney General Fox for his help in allowing Austin Knudsen to hit the ground running and continue combatting the illegal drug epidemic, enforcing law and order, and defending the personal liberties of all Montanans on day one.”
