Greg Gianforte Sworn In As Montana’s 25th Governor

HELENA, Mont. – Greg Gianforte was sworn in today as Montana’s 25th governor at the State Capitol in Helena, becoming Montana’s first Republican governor in sixteen years.

Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt issued the following statement in response to Governor Gianforte’s swearing-in:

“After 16 years of Democrat rule in Helena, Governor Greg Gianforte and Lt. Governor Kristen Juras are ready to lead Montana’s comeback, change the way Helena does business, and get our economy going again. Under Governor Gianforte’s leadership, there is no doubt that Montana’s best days lie ahead.”

With Governor Gianforte sworn into office, Montana Republicans have an incredible opportunity to pass meaningful legislation that will build a better Montana for all Montanans.

Alongside Republican majorities in the State House and Senate, and Republicans in every statewide office, Governor Gianforte and Lt. Governor Juras are ready to move Montana forward by opening Montana for business, restoring customer service to state government and creating more good-paying Montana jobs.
