MTGOP CHAIRMAN DON “K” KALTSCHMIDT SLAMS MTDEMS FOR REMAINING SILENT AFTER IRAN’S ATTACK AGAINST ISRAEL

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 17, 2024
Contact: madison@mtgop.org

HELENA, Mont. – Montana Republican Party Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt issued the following statement as the Montana Democratic Party continues to remain silent after Iran’s unprecedented attack against Israel:

“The Montana Democrat Party’s silence on Iran’s unprecedented attack on Israel tells Montanans everything they need to know. Instead of standing in solidarity with one of our greatest allies, Montana Democrats would rather pander to far-left extremists in their own party and America’s enemies abroad.”

“Republicans know that Iran’s latest attack on Israel is just another sign of the Biden Administration’s disastrous foreign policy, which has now completely destabilized the Middle East. I’d like to remind Montanans that President Trump is the one who secured a historic deal through the Abraham Accords to advance peace and prosperity in the region – then Biden burned it all down.”

“One thing is clear; while the Montana Republican Party will vocally condemn Iran’s attack against Israel and continue to unequivocally support Israel’s right to defend itself, the Montana Democrat Party is actively choosing to remain silent.”

Tester’s New Ad Can’t Hide Support for Biden’s Border Bloodbath

Two-faced Jon Tester (D-MT) just came out with a new ad trying to distance himself from Joe Biden’s border bloodbath, but Tester can’t continue to pull the wool over voters’ eyes by hiding his voting record.

While Jon Tester desperately claims he’s worked with Republicans to secure the border, his voting record paints a VERY different picture. Two-faced Tester has a record of supporting Joe Biden’s disastrous open-border policies, which have led to an invasion at the Southern border.

“Montanans have had enough of two-faced Tester’s lies. His voting record and support for Joe Biden have aided and abetted an invasion of our country – there’s no doubt about it. Come November, Montanans are going to retire Jon Tester for good and help put a stop to Biden’s border bloodbath.” – Montana Republican Party Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt.

Background:

  • Jon Tester has voted against the Laken Riley Act, ending sanctuary cities, halting grants for amnesty to illegal aliens, and stopping Biden’s secret migrant flights.
  • Jon Tester votes with Joe Biden 91% of the time.
  • Tester: Biden has “helped” secure the border.
  • Other two-faced Tester votes.

MTGOP launches Rank Choice Voting Task Force

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 3, 2024
Contact: madison@mtgop.org

HELENA, Mont. – Montana Republican Party Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt released the following statement after the state party launched a Rank Choice Voting (RCV) Task Force, to combat RCV efforts in Montana, including stopping Constitutional Initiative 126, or the “Top 4 Vote Getter” initiative:

“Our Rank Choice Voting (RCV) Task Force is chaired by Montana’s National Committeeman Art Wittich and is tasked with educating Montana voters on the dangers of RCV. The people of Montana need to know that RCV has many names, including “Final Four” voting. But no matter what it is called, RCV makes voting harder and puts public confidence in elections at risk,” Chairman Kaltschmidt said.

The MTGOP has reviewed CI-126, known as the “Top 4 Vote Getter” initiative, and is clearly opposed to its back door RCV scheme. This initiative would be destructive to our elections process, cause confusion, and disenfranchise Montana voters. Our task force will be working diligently to educate Montanans on the issue, highlight its true intentions, and stop it.”

MTGOP Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt penned an op-ed in Lee Newspapers highlighting the dangers of CI-126, which can be found HERE.

HELENA, Mont. – Montana Republican Party Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt released the following statement after the Montana Republican Party Executive Board voted to endorse Congressman Ryan Zinke‘s re-elect campaign:

“He’s the experienced legislator Montana needs fighting for our way of life and that’s been shown in his efforts to delist the grizzly, increase responsible forest management, be a voice for our veterans, and defend our God-given rights that his opponent Monica Tranel has made clear she would sell out to eco-maniacs on her first day. The MTGOP looks forward to fighting with Zinke to keep people like Tranel out of public office.”
