HELENA, Mont. – Montana Republican Party Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt issued the following statement about Ryan Zinke after he won in a debate against his Democratic opponent, Monica Tranel, and Libertarian opponent, John Lamb, for the Montana U.S. House seat.

“Last night made it clear once again – Monica stands with the woke mob, not Montana. With her liberal agenda on full display, we heard once again how she’ll destroy Montana’s economy, kill Montana oil and gas development, and infringe on our Second Amendment rights by taking guns away from law-abiding Montanans. On the other hand, John showed how out of touch with Montana he is, and even went as far to say ‘our troops don’t fight for freedom’ – what a slap in the face to Montana veterans. The choice this November couldn’t be more clear – Ryan Zinke,” Kaltschmidt said.
