HELENA, Mont. – Montana Republican Party Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt issued the following statement in response to the acquittal of former President Donald J. Trump:

“The second impeachment of President Trump was another effort led by D.C. Democrats to further divide our country and tie all Republicans to the actions taken by extremists on January 6^th,” said Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt. “Montanans are grateful to Senator Daines for his vote to end an unconstitutional effort against a private citizen, and we hope Senator Tester and other Democrats in Washington, D.C. will now finally be able to join their Republican colleagues in focusing on issues that will improve the lives of the American people.”
