On this day every year, we take the time to honor and remember the brave servicemen and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedoms. Each of these heroes had their own story, their own lives, and their own beliefs, but they were willing to give up their freedom to defend ours. As many Americans spend the day today with family, friends, and neighbors, let us take the time to remember those who have given us the opportunity to live in the greatest country in the world. On this Memorial Day, let us keep those who aren’t with us today because of their selfless sacrifice to our country in the forefront of our minds. May we never forget that freedom is not free. God bless our servicemen and women, and God bless the United States of America.
