Montana Democrat Gubernatorial, U.S. Senate Candidates out of touch with Montana

HELENA – The Montana Republican Party Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt released the following statement after Montana Democrat candidates for Governor and U.S. Senate debated in Bozeman:

“Tonight’s debates between Montana Democrat candidates showcased nothing more than their inability to represent us and our Montana values in Helena or the U.S. Senate. While Democrat Senate candidates continue their race to the left and the never-ending crusade against President Trump, we look forward to supporting Senator Steve Daines and his commitment to our Second Amendment Rights and outdoor heritage, as well as his record of support for constitutional judges, secure borders, and lower taxes.

Montanans are looking for this record of success in Montana’s next Executive. And tonight we heard loud and clear that the Democrats’ solution to the problems facing Montana is increased spending and higher taxes on hardworking Montanans. After years of higher tax proposals, bloated government agencies, and an aversion to fiscal sanity in Helena, Montanans are ready for a Republican in the Governor’s office and a more prosperous future.”
