When Montana voters elected Republicans to every statewide office and gave us majorities in both legislative chambers, they did so expecting us to deliver on the core tenets of our platform: lower taxes, smaller government, and stronger families. We’re doing exactly that.

Although Democrats and their cronies blocked real property tax relief in favor of a harmful tax shift, Republicans nevertheless passed dozens of great bills last session to improve the lives of Montanans. It’s important that we don’t forget all of those amid the dispute over property taxes.

Republicans bolstered election integrity by increasing transparency for paid signature gatherers. Republicans made housing more affordable by cutting red tape. Republicans promoted judicial accountability by making the courts more transparent. Republicans stood up for Montana values by keeping boys out of girls’ sports and locker rooms.

Democrats, shamefully, cannot say the same on any of those fronts.

The Montana Republican Party is the engine that drives red policy and conservative governance in our state. No other organization supports Republican candidates to the extent we do in local, state, and federal elections alike. The value we bring is unparalleled.

If Montana voters want to see continued Republican victories, and even bigger wins moving forward, they should stay informed about who consistently voted for red policies and who repeatedly sided with Democrats to grow government and raise your taxes. We only support the former.

With midterms less than a year away, the work we put in now will determine whether we keep Montana, and our country as a whole, on the right trajectory, or whether we hand back control to Democrats and their failed policies.
