HELENA, Mont. – Montana Republican Party Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt issued the following statement in regard to the joint election integrity lawsuit filed today with the Republican National Committee to ban a person from “double voting” and having multiple voter registrations:

“Basic election safeguards drive up voter confidence. Left-wing groups are trying to make Montana elections less secure, and Republicans won’t allow that to happen. We’re proud to join with the RNC in filing this intervention and look forward to fighting this battle in court for Montanans,” Chairman Kaltschmidt said.
