HELENA, Mont. – Montana Republican Party Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt issued the following statement regarding the Commission on Practices (COP) recommendation to suspend Attorney General Austin Knudsen for 90 days:

“This is an absurd recommendation from a group of Democrat donors looking advance the electoral interests of their party’s candidate for Attorney General. They could have ended this witch-hunt 2 years ago, just like their own Special Counsel recommended but they sought to drag it out for maximum political benefit. The Commission on Practice’s attempt to influence this Election are shameful.”
