DESCRIPTION:May 18th\, 2024\nLocation: BestWestern Premier Helena Great Northern Hotel 835 Great Northern Blvd Helena\, MT 59601 \nThe Montana Republican Party will hold its 2024 State Delegate Convention May 18th\, 2o24 at the Great Northern Hotel in Helena\, Montana. \nAs a reminder\, the State Party Bylaws require that the State Party must notify Officers’ Convention Delegates within 60 days of Platform Convention. This notification fulfills this obligation per the State Party Bylaws\, which you can review HERE should you prefer additional reference. \nApplications to be a National Delegate/Alternate can be found at the MTGOP Headquarters or by contacting your County Party Chair. These applications MUST be returned to MTGOP Headquarters no later than March 19th\, 2024. \nPer Montana Republican Party Bylaws\, delegates to the State Delegate Convention shall be elected from each county by the County Central Committee. The County Chairman must notify the State Chairman of the names of the county delegates at least thirty (30) days prior to the convention. All delegates must be registered for the convention. Those persons receiving the most number of votes so cast shall be elected as delegates to the State Delegate Convention. The convention shall elect the delegates and alternates to the Republican National Convention. \nIf you have any questions\, please do not hesitate to reach out to the MTGOP at (406)442-6469 or email events@mtgop.org.
