MTDEMS Funding Hillary’s Gun Control Campaign Ads

In her latest campaign ads, Hillary Clinton is calling for ‘commonsense gun laws.’

This is code for: More gun control.

You know who’s partially funding Hillary’s ads? The Montana Democrat Party.

This should hardly come as a surprise, and simply reinforces the point that there’s no difference between where Hillary Clinton and the Montana Democrat Party stand on the Second Amendment: They want to take our guns away.

Like the well-rehearsed career politicians that they are, both Hillary and Gov. Steve Bullock falsely reassure voters of their strong support for the Second Amendment.

The truth is: Their rhetoric doesn’t match their actions.

Hillary supports a nationwide firearm ban; and when a bill came across Gov. Bullock’s desk to prevent Montana from enforcing a federal firearm ban, he VETOED the bill not just once – but twice!

Bullock has no commonsense for thinking it’s a good idea to allow federal officials to force Montana law enforcement to carry out a Hillary Clinton executive order to confiscate means of personal defense that she doesn’t care for.

If you’re concerned about our 2nd Amendment Rights please forward this email to your family and friends so they know that Bullock’s actions put him right in league with Hillary Clinton’s efforts to ‘take our guns away.’

We face no greater threat than a Hillary Clinton presidency and we need a strong leader in the Governor’s office to ensure our 2nd Amendment Rights will always be defended and protected.

You can’t trust Bullock to be the strong leader we need on the 2nd Amendment: He has a “C” rating from the NRA, he VETOED a series of gun-rights bills, and worst of all he wants to ‘take our guns away.’

With an “A” rating from the NRA and endorsements from the Gun Owners of America, Montana Shooting Sports Association and the NRA, Greg Gianforte will the strong Governor Montana needs to always fight and defend our constitutional right to keep and bear arms.

Bullock, Hillary No Friend to Gun Owners

The outcome of this election will truly define what happens to our Second Amendment Rights.

Hillary Clinton supports Obama’s gun-control regulations, said a nationwide firearm ban would be worth considering, and believes the Supreme Court is wrong on the Second Amendment.

Hillary’s views aren’t just her own; they are shared by the Democrat Party.

Here in Montana, Governor Bullock is neither the strong leader you can trust on the Second Amendment nor will he protect and defend our right to keep and bear arms.

At every turn, Bullock proudly stands with Hillary Clinton and the Democrats’ gun control agenda – not with Montanans and our Second Amendment Rights:

  • Bullock received a “C” rating from the NRAa “C” rating!
  • Bullock and Bloomberg’s anti-Second Amendment groups are working together in Montana to advance their gun control agenda and take away our firearms.
  • Bullock VETOED several common sense gun rights bills over the last 4 years.

Most disturbing of all, Bullock VETOED a bill that guaranteed under the 10th Amendment that Montana would never have to enforce a federal firearm or ammo ban.

Bullock VETOED this bill not once but twice – and called it “completely unnecessary.”

When you VETO a bill that protects our Second Amendment Rights and call it “completely unnecessary,” that really says all you need to know about where you stand on this issue.

Let’s show Bullock where Montana stands on the Second Amendment this November.

Remember to VOTE for Greg Gianforte as Governor, he is endorsed by and received an “A” rating from the NRA and Greg is someone Montanans can always trust to fight for our Second Amendment Rights.

Juneau’s Gun Control Birthday Bash

Denise Juneau brings Steny Hoyer– the number two in House Democrat leadership– to Montana today to celebrate her birthday in Bozeman. Denise Juneau is being sung Happy Birthday by an extreme liberal who has a ZERO percent rating from the NRA!

The last time Steny Hoyer was here in Montana he was raising money for John Lewis’ failed House run. At the fundraiser, Steny Hoyer revealed the Democrat playbook: Cover up the candidates’ anti-2nd Amendment agenda to win the election and then they will turn around and take away our right to keep and bear arms.

Steny Hoyer: “I’m not from Montana, I have a zero rating with the NRA, and I would not recommend that John use gun control as part of his campaign… But I will tell you …  if you have a Democrat in charge of the House of Representatives, those issues will have a shot.

Denise Juneau and Steny Hoyer’s Washington D.C. values have no place in Montana. Our elected officials swear an oath to defend and protect the Constitution– including the right to keep and bear arms. For Juneau to so blatantly showcase her anti-2nd Amendment agenda goes to show Montanans can’t trust her to protect our way of life.

Bullock VETOED Bill to Protect Us From Obama’s Firearm Power Grab

Governor Bullock responded to President Obama’s illegal firearm power grab by saying it’s “too important for the president to circumvent Congress with the stroke of a pen.”

Bullock is trying to have it both ways. Bullock was given the opportunity to protect Montanans’ Second Amendment rights but instead VETOED legislation that would have prevented Montana from enforcing a firearm power grab, like the one announced by Obama earlier this week.

When Bullock VETOED the legislation he called it “completely unnecessary.”

The legislation would have protected Montanans from Obama’s recent firearm power grab and any future federal firearm ban from a constitutionally ignorant president or by legislation from a Democrat-controlled Congress.

The legislation defined a federal ban as a “federal law or executive order enacted or signed on or after January 1, 2015, that prohibits, restricts, or requires individual licensure for ownership, possession, transfer, or use of any firearm.

Obama’s power grab restricts Montanans’ access to firearms because it requires nearly universal background checks and “applies to anyone ‘in the business’ of selling firearms”– including private sales between family and friends.

Bullock owes Montanans an explanation as to why he VETOED legislation that protects Montanans’ Second Amendment rights. Bullock’s not committed to defending Montanans’ right to keep and bear arms. This November we have an opportunity to elect a Republican Governor who will stand with our Republican elected officials and protect Montanans’ from this assault on our way of life.

BACKGROUND:

Bullock VETOED HB 203 in 2015 and a nearly identical bill HB 302 in 2013 that prevents enforcement of a federal ban or restriction on access to firearms.

Tester Votes to Restrict Montanans’ Second Amendment Rights

Last week, Senator Jon Tester quietly voted for more gun control and greater restrictions on Montanans’ constitutional right to keep and bear arms.

It’s no wonder that Senator Tester tried to keep his anti-Montana votes a secret. After all, Tester’s votes show that once again, he is abandoning his promises to Montanans to prop up President Obama and Hillary Clinton’s liberal, anti-Second Amendment agenda.

Make no mistake — Montanans’ Second Amendment Rights are under attack from Senator Tester, President Obama and Hillary Clinton. Senator Tester’s anti-Second Amendment votes will only pave the way for extremists to push forward with their ultimate objective of further restricting Montanans’ lawful access to firearms.

Once again, Jon Tester’s voting record shows he’s more concerned with Washington, D.C. politics than Montana values.

Senator Tester: Voting to restrict Montanans’ constitutional freedoms– voting for more gun control– is not a Montana value.

Tester Supports More Gun Control Measures

TESTER VOTED YES | Manchin amendment #2908: Requires universal background checks on all gun purchases– including private sales.

TESTER VOTED YES | Feinstein amendment #2910: Grants the Attorney General unconstitutional authority and absolute discretion to infringe and deny 2nd Amendment Rights to any individual on the terrorist watch list or suspected of being a terrorist without due process– even if you are accidentally placed on the terrorist watch list, which happened to Senator Ted Kennedy.

TESTER VOTED NO | Paul amendment #2915: Restores 2nd Amendment Rights in Washington DC to allow for concealed carry permits, national concealed carry reciprocity, repeals policies that restrict ownership of a firearm, and allows active duty personnel to carry a concealed firearm at Department of Defense facilities.

TESTER VOTED NO | Grassley amendment #2914: Increases the threshold for adjudicated mentally incompetent to ensure doctors don’t infringe on 2nd Amendment Rights, outlines specific guidelines on what mental health care records can be given to NICS, and includes Kate’s law– requires a minimum 5 year sentence for illegal immigrants who re-enter the country after being convicted of a felony.
